The defending champion Women’s squad beat Canada’s ‘Dawksports’ 14-7 but lost 14-6 to Washington’s ‘Lady all met’ and 16-8 to Virginia’s ‘Badd girls’, finished the tournament 10th in the world with a record of 1-and-2. More than 450 flag teams participated, including from Canada, Bahamas, Mexico and Puerto Rico. The men weren’t as lucky as the women’s squad, losing 4 straight but finishing the tournament 37th in the world.
