Jamaican defender Damion Lowe has signed a deal to play with the Tampa Bay Rowdies, terms of the deal were not disclosed. The 23-year-old had an outstanding 2016 season with North American Soccer League’s Minnesota United FC, where he was on loan from Major League Soccer champion Seattle Sounders, who drafted him 8th overall in the 2014 draft. Lowe was featured in 27 games, starting in 25, while earning his first international cap.
