This past weekend, the selection process began for both Cayman’s men’s and women’s National Beach Volleyball teams. Cayman will be fielding two teams per gender, with 6 women playing for 3 spots, as a player currently abroad has been guaranteed a spot in advance. Powery is currently nursing an injury, but she says participation is the biggest concern for the program at the grassroots level and hopes for the best come April.
