Dart’s festival grounds approved

The Central Planning Authority approves an application for an event site on land north of the Kimpton Hotel, paving the way for the land to be used next year for the Kaaboo Cayman festival.

Crews are already working at the site.
Yesterday (16 May) representatives from Dart Real Estate appeared in front of the Authority where three applications were discussed. One for an event site, one for a Marl parking area and one to widen an approved pathway.

According to the CPA agenda, roughly a dozen letters objecting to the applications were received.

We reported last night that a decision would be delayed until today (17 May), but the decision was made yesterday evening.
