Henry takes 31st FLOW 800m Sea Swim

A strong final 50-metres saw Liam Henry take the 31st FLOW 800m Sea Swim Saturday (12 May) at Governor’s Beach. Henry, 17, crossed the finish line in just 11:08 seconds.

“I feel like I did pretty good, considering I came on pretty strong” said Henry.

Fellow Stingray Swim Club member Jake Bailey was right behind him to finish second with a time of 11:12 seconds.

“I was doing pretty well throughout the whole thing, I went out fast and came back fast” said Bailey.

Camana Bay Aquatic Club’s Avery Lambert rounded out the top three with a time of 11:19 seconds.

“I am extremely happy with that placing, and I hope to perform better in the future” said Lambert.

In total, 90 swimmers completed the race. Each swimmer in the top 10 clocked in under 12 minutes total.
