Search for missing Brac resident: Police not giving up

The RCIPS says although the water searches for 54-year-old Linvol Smith are over officers are still actively searching for the missing man.

Mr. Smith has been missing since the weekend. He was last seen Friday when he told friends he was going snorkeling or swimming. He was reported missing Saturday after he failed to show up for work.
Today (24 May) Superintendent Brad Ebanks who was part of the police dive team searching for him the weather did impact their searches. But they are still looking for him.
“We haven’t given up hope. There is always a possibility of closure. Even though we have stopped actively searching for him on the water, the case is still open,” said Mr. Ebanks.

Mr. Ebanks said searches along the coastline are continuing and aircrafts have also been notified.
