UPDATE: ETH reopens after serious crash

One person remains in critical condition after a single-car collision on the Esterley Tibbetts Highway, according to police.

The section of the ETH between the Camana Bay and Butterfield roundabouts is now reopen after it was closed for several hours earlier in the day. The closure had caused traffic backups throughout George Town.

Police say the crash happened around 3 a.m. Saturday (2 June). One person remains in critical condition at the Cayman Islands Hospital.

Another person involved was taken to Health City Cayman Islands. Two others involved were released from the hospital.
