Football: Former CIFA Secretary Takkas gets FIFA life ban

FIFA’s ethics committee has imposed a life ban on Cayman Islands Football Association General Secretary Costas Takkas.

Takkas, who worked alongside former Cayman Islands Football Association (CIFA) President and FIFA vice president Jeffrey Webb, received a 15-month prison sentence last year.

FIFA handed life bans to Takkas, as well as match agent Miguel Trujillo as marketing executive Aaron Davidson.

They were also fined $1 million.
