Update: Man in seriously injured in GT shooting

One man is being treated for serious injuries at the Cayman Islands hospital after he was shot in George Town Friday (12 October) night.
According an RCIPS statement the incident happened at Sound Way in George Town around 8 p.m.
Details on the incident have not been released, but police said one suspect reportedly had a handgun and the other brandished a machete.
Police said the two suspects left the location on foot and officers are currently making checks in the surrounding areas.
Police were first on scene after the shooting was reported. The RCIPS said the area was assessed by  the armed units and they then advised the EMTs when it was safe to enter the location.
