Police appeal for West Bay robbery witnesses to come forward

Police are appealing to members of the public to help them solve a robbery in West Bay which occurred on Monday (15 October) evening.

According to the RCIPS at 10 p.m. that evening, they responded to a report on West Church Street, where a man was struck in the head with a machete and his chain stolen by two men wearing black. The victim received minor injuries.

The men are said to have escaped on foot.

Police are asking anyone who may have information or who witnessed the incident to contact the West Bay police station at 949-3999.
