Swimming: Crooks clocks 100m PB at Youth Olympic Games

16-year old Jordan Crooks swam to his second personal best of the Youth Olympic Games Thursday (11 October) in the Men’s 100-meter freestyle.

Swimming in Heat 2 of the morning session, Crooks swam to 3rd with a time of 53.52 seconds, topping his previous best of 53.96.

Overall, Crooks was 35th out of 46 swimmers.

Cayman’s remaining two athletes will hit the track Friday (12 October) in the 100-meter dash.

17-year old Gary Rankine will hit the track at 2:58 pm local time, while 16-year old Danneika Lyn will run at 3:12 pm.
