Update: Suspect held after a child is injured in BT

A child is in hospital and a suspect is in custody following an incident in Bodden Town on Wednesday (21 November) night.

Police are on the scene at this time.

According to a brief RCIPS statement just before 7:30 p.m. the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched police to what they called “a serious incident” in Bodden Town involving a young child in danger.

Police say the child was taken to hospital and is currently in stable condition.

An arrest has been made following the incident.

Details are limited, but 911 has confirmed that a child was injured at an address on Twig Drive.
