Christmas NiCE programme set to begin

Government is kicking off its Christmas edition of the National Community Enhancement or NiCE programme.

It said this is the last project for 2018 under NiCE.
According to Government Information Services registration and training for the 15-day project will be held this Monday (19 November) at the Lions Centre beginning at 9 a.m.
The actual programme will start on Monday 26 November.

Public Works Department, the National Roads Authority and the Department of Environmental Health will be administering the programme, which is scheduled to end Friday 14 December.
The programme will involve repairs and maintenance, gardening, as well as, clearing parks and beach accesses, the GIS statement said.

The project is open only to unemployed Caymanians and spouses of Caymanians who are 18 years old and over.
