The Hope for Today Foundation held a community gathering earlier this month.
It aimed to give recovering addicts a chance to bond and share their experiences.
Hope For Today Foundation coordinator Brent Hydes said hosting such events help the community as a whole.
“We recognize that our children are at a vulnerable stage in their life so we also have to educate them and make them aware of some of the falls that they will be facing in the community. Unless they are properly educated they might just fall into the same circumstances that many of us have fallen into,” said Mr. Hydes.
