Pink Ladies Christmas bazaar and tea pulls a crowd

Over the weekend the Pink Ladies held their annual Christmas bazaar and tea fundraiser at the Arts and Recreation Centre in Camana Bay.

Those in attendance got an early taste of a Cayman Christmas. Event coordinator Pamela Webster said the bazaar has come a long way.

“The Pink Ladies was founded by Ms. Olive Miller, who is now celebrating her 97th birthday and we’ve got a wonderful group of women volunteering for over 35 years. We support the Pines Retirement home, the Special Olympics, the Lighthouse school. Many charities are here selling some goods and teaming up with us today (24 November),” said Ms. Webster.

The event raised $20, 000 which will be used to fund key Pink Ladies projects.
