Rotaract helps give Watler’s Park a facelift

Over the weekend the Rotaract Club collaborated with Endeavor Construction Ltd, the Public Works Department, and George Town MLA Joey Hew to give Watler’s Park a phenomenal makeover.

During their efforts, cabanas at the park were fixed and the wall surrounding the park was painted by members from the Art Nest studio.

Rotarian Stephanie Wight said she hopes members of the public will enjoy their community service.

“At the end, we hope that the community will appreciate the environment that’s created here. It will give a place for kids to play safely, to communicate face to face not just on social media but to get them outside in the fresh air to really appreciate what Cayman has to offer,” said Ms. Wight.

Rotary next project will be at the Garvin Park in West Bay.
