Top Story: DOE discusses future of protected lands


On the eve of the National Conservation Law’s five year anniversary, more than 6% of Cayman’s total land area has now been designated protected.

Department of Environment terrestrial resources unit manager Fred Burton joined Cayman 27’s Dr. Taylor Burrowes to talk more about the effort to grow that number to align with the international benchmark of 20% protected lands.
