Deadline for feedback of National Planning Framework extended to 28 February

The deadline for feedback on the National Planning Framework has been extended to the end of February.

The National Planning Framework is the first phase of Plan Cayman.

The document outlines long-term goals for land use, the natural environment, transportation, infrastructure, recreation and open spaces, and includes 20 individualised ‘area plans’ for 20 distinct geographical areas.

“If you want to be a part of what the future of Cayman will be and what the future of Cayman can be, this is your opportunity to participate in that process I encourage everyone to come out, everyone to look at the document, everyone to provide us with your feedback,” said Planning Director Haroon Pandohie.

The National Planning Framework can be found online at

Printed copies are also available for viewing in the Government Administration Building lobby.
