Zak Quappe Flight Scholarship gets a $7k boost

The Zak Quappe Flight Scholarship got $7, 000 closer to helping one young Caymanian achieve the dream of becoming a pilot.
The funds were raised at the recently held Celebrate the best of Woodstock and the disco era concert at the Prospect Playhouse.

Scholarship board member Barrie Quappe said the scholarship programme was set up to assist young Caymanians in achieving their dreams.
“They have excellent grades. All the people we have interviewed since we started this fund have excellent grades and they work very, very hard and the only thing standing between them and getting their Private Pilot License or (PPL) for short, is money and this fund fills that gap,” said Ms. Quappe.
Scholarship board members said they are still accepting donations, you can get involved by contacting Sheree Ebanks:  sebanks@me.com
