It’s not only pirates invading Cayman this weekend but some top BMX talent. Four of the best BMX riders from around the world were out to showcase some of their skills at the Black Pearl Skate Park today (November 11).
Anti-Crime Trust’s Michael Myles, who also overseas the Skate Park says he hopes these BMX riders will inspire Cayman’s troubled youth.
In cased you missed the BMX exhibition, there are many other activities. First up is the Mike Lockwood Memorial International Swim Meet it began on Thursday but will run to Sunday beginning at 7:00 p.m this evening (November 11) and 8:00 a.m on the weekend.
On Monday, 15 November the 36th Annual Pirates Week 5K swim takes place on Seven Mile Beach starting at 7:30 a.m. The “To Hell and Back 10k”, run/walk begins at 7:00 a.m on Sunday 20 November. The registration deadline is this Wednesday, 16 November, it is important to note there will be no race day registration.
