Weather helps, but Windies struggle to help themselves vs. India

Rain for the second-straight day halted play in the second Test between West Indies and India and it may be the only thing that has kept the tourists from taking the win.

West Indies began its second innings Tuesday (2 August) and mustered 48 runs while losing four wickets in the first session alone.

Opener Rajendra Chandrika was bowled out for one run and later on Marlon Samuels was bowled for a duck as the Caribbean side’s batsmen struggled to stay at the crease.

The fifth and final day of the Test is set for 3 August.
