Zouks top Tallwahs in final regular-season CPLT20 matchup

The St. Lucia Zouks beat the Jamaica Tallawahs by 17 runs Monday (1 August) in the Caribbean Premier League finale.

Looking ahead, regular-season winners Guyana Amazon Warriors, the Trinbago Knight Riders, the Zouks and the Tallawahs are through to the knockout round.

Andre Fletcher and Johnson Charles in the finale partnered for a 104-run first-wicket partnership that give the Zouks the edge from the get-go. Shane Watson added 42 from 17 balls for the Zouks.

In the first playoff matchup, the Amazon Warriors face the Tallawahs on 3 August before the Knight Riders and Zouks meet in the second semifinal on 4 August.
